New Collections! - Melamaster

Image
Following the success of my Christmas range for Melamaster , I’m delighted to announce that I will be launching 3 new collections with them at Spring Fair 2018. Each range contains 4 complimentary new designs, which can be used on their own, or you can mix and match the patterns for a more eclectic kitchenware look!  JEWELS OF THE SEA The first range is called ‘Jewels Of The Sea’ and was inspired by the colours and moods of the beautiful coastal scenery of one of my favourite places, Studland in Dorset. Designs include shells, starfish, waves and fish - all in a calming coastal colour palette. Each pattern is available on a large variety of different products including trays, placemats, coasters, chop boards, pot stands and much more.  Click the name below each image to view all the products available in that design.  Seascape Seashore Shoaling Starfish GEOMETRICO The second collection is full of geometric loveliness! Showing Off!

This month my designs have once again been showcased by Kitchen Craft on their stand at The Spring Fair (NEC, UK) and Ambiente (Messe Frankfurt, Germany). Thousands of people walk the halls at these prestigious industry shows including buyers from top retailers around the world. It is always a privilege to have designs shown at these exhibitions so I was really upset not to make the shows in person this year due to other design commitments (... more details to follow soon hopefully!), but I was able to get these images from the Kitchen Craft Facebook page. Above is a lovely display of my 'World of Flavours - Chinese' range at Spring Fair, which I showed you in more detail on the blog back in August. Above and in the below shot (left and middle of the Cool Movers stand) is a sneaky peak at my two new summer ranges...! Above is a spooky display of my Halloween range design for 'Spookily Does It' ( - You can read more about this design here ) and below is a

New Summer Range - 'Bloom'

Image
My third and final new summer range for Cool Movers is called 'Bloom '. This is my favourite of the three ranges because I was asked to add a bit more creativity to the pattern, although it still needed to be relatively simple for the core summer tableware market. As a floral design was required to contrast with the other two ranges, I decided to create a really strong and bold motif that would translate well across both melamine and textile products. Hopefully the design comes across as being fun and playful as I wanted to capture the joy of a picnic in the sunshine. The design is available on melamine plates, bowls and cups, as well as paper napkins and a plastic table cloth. I reinterpreted the large bold floral into a ditsy print to work on picnic bags and rugs... ...but the larger design is picked up again on the packaging. I think that the two pattern scales work together well to add a bit more depth and interest to the range.

New Summer Range - 'Sherbert'

The second of my new summer ranges for the Cool Movers brand is called 'Sherbert'. Again, this brief was to create a spot and stripe pattern that was bright and bold, but very simple for mass market appeal. There are a variety of different cool bags, picnic baskets and rugs available in the designs.  There is even a paper lantern to add some summertime cheer to your garden! If you like the design you can also buy it on melamine cups, plates, bowls and a tray, as well as paper napkins. Images copyright Kitchen Craft 2013.
